Who is the #1 Contender?

            Last Wednesday, March 10, JON MOXLEY walked out of the Sorg Opera House in Middletown, Ohio with some surprising news – he was the new two-time IPW World Heavyweight Champion.  Now, there is one question on everyone’s mind.

            Who is the #1 Contender??

            With all the great competition, who will MOXLEY have to contend with first?

            Could it be DRAKE YOUNGER?  The former champion elevated the Grand Championship to World Championship status with his memorable reign that took the title all over the world.  YOUNGER defeated JC BAILEY in his return match to be declared the #1 contender just a few short months ago but has yet to receive his championship match.

            Or SCOTTY VORTEKZ?  The former champion, who has quite the history with JON MOXLEY as the man who took the championship from him, is obviously expecting his rematch.  His title reigns have seen him emerge against staggering odds to prove that this Dragon does indeed breathe fire!

            What about AARON WILLIAMS?  Having already gotten the best of JON MOXLEY on two separate occasions, this upstart could see this as his chance to claim the glory of being the World Heavyweight Champion.  This be the greatest revenge on MOXLEY by taking his title, but a WILLIAMS win over MOXLEY would take much more – his self-respect.

            And if you think those three are the only ones vying for the #1 Contender position, you are mistaken!  There are a few other men on the roster with their eyes on the World Heavyweight Title:

            B-BOY – It’s a well-known fact that MOXLEY took the CZW World Heavyweight Championship from B-BOY… What could be better than not only reclaiming that title, but MOXLEY’S IPW World Belt as well?

            DAVE DAVIDSON – With an impressive showing against KEVIN THORN, and then defeating both KING VU and NEIL “DIAMOND” CUTTER, DAVIDSON seems to be reclaiming that defensive form that makes him so dangerous!

            BILLY ROC – The King of Indiana has been eyeing that championship for a while now… and who can forget that BILLY and JON had their battles in 2007?

            JIMMY JACOBS – Don’t every discount the cunning of IPW’s newcomer.
